This year mountain ski resort Gudauri becomes 30 years old. Tourists, skiers and hikers will arrive in completely renewed resort. Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia funded several projects in Gudauri that are due to end soon. One of the main news is that 6 new and 1 renovated cable cars will be available this season, in 2018 and 2019.
This year's Gudauri winter season will be open on December 15th.

Ski lifts&tickets offices operating hours in Guduari in 2018/19 season
- Monday – Friday: 09:00 - 15:00
- Saturday, Sunday: 9:00 - 16:00
- Evening riding: Saturday from 20:00 - 22:00
To get ski passes for skiing in Gudauri is possible only at the resort's ticket offices.
Ticket offices are located at the beginning all of the lower ski lifts, long lines at the ticket does not happen. Payment for ski passes available by cash in GEL or VISA & MasterCard cards.
Opening hours ticket office: 10:00 - 16:00 in the winter time, 09:00 - 17:00 on weekends and spring.

The new Valmorel Mottet chairlift ascent from 1850m to 2400m in less than 5 minutes, 6 seats allows one to rejoin mountain goat territory and access difficult descent on the Mottet black point or ski down the red dot, a challenge for the whole family.
Livigno, new feaures for the 2018|19 season revealed
The Mottolino Fun Mountain ski area has been further expanded with two new lifts. The first new feature is the Yepi Lift for young skiers. This 6-seater chairlift features a protective bar and moving treadmill that automatically adjusts itself in height to make it easier for little ones to get on and off.
New era on the Maiskogel in Kaprun
This year, in December 2018, the MK Maiskogelbahn and multi-function Kaprun Center will open, realizing the first stage of Kaprun’s generational project. One year later will see completion of the 3K Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn-K-onnection – Salzburg’s very first tri-cable gondola.
