In the ski area Val Gardena/Seiser Alm all ski fans can look forward to the following innovations for the winter 2019/2020
• Col Raiser: improvement of the snowmaking system and purchase of 8 snow generators
• Ciampinoi: New snowmaking system on the slopes n.3, n.4 and on part of the slope n. 5
In some circumstances, be it due to bad weather or strong winds on the mountain tops, or when there is fog, danger of avalanche after heavy snowfalls, or even occasional technical problems, it is not possible to continue on or complete the planned ski tour. So as to inform and update skiers as soon as possible on prevailing conditions and other relevant factors, and to avoid that skiers continue their journey across the valleys and end up in some logistic difficulty, the system of mega-monitors installed in the valley and bottom stations of the most important lifts will communicate effectively and directly with the skiers. In graphic and text form indications will be given as to parts of routes which are not accessible. Of course, other relevant information both of an advisory nature indications as to queues or times needed to complete routes, and also of a tourist nature indicating events and offers will also be given. Speedy updates on all that is going on will add to the day’s skiing pleasure and also avoid inconveniences in terms of lost time or unnecessary connections.
