The new slope that will host all the men's races during the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel will be ready as of this season. It will be called "L'Éclipse".Don’t wait until 2023 to discover the men's racetrack for the Alpine World Ski Championships!
Thrill-seeking skiers will delight in descending the vertiginous 3,200 metres from the summit of the Col de la Loze (2,234m). Right at the start, the first thrill comes from the sight of the slope with its average incline of 30%. The second comes lower down, when skiers slide through a dense forest... blocking out the sunlight. Experience zero gravity on this unique run before arriving in the heart of the picturesque village of Praz (1,300m).
Perrine Pelen: It is magnificent and I do not doubt that it will become one of the most renowned tracks on the World Cup circuit.Marie Jay Marchand-Arvier: It is... absolutely awesome! The profile really reminds me of some of the great classics on the Men’s World Cup ski circuit and it is bound to make some people jealous because this spectacle will, I am sure, be totally brilliant.
