This new gondola will travel up 1,142 metres altitude, reaching the top station positioned at 2,570 m in just over four minutes. From the top station, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy easier access to a larger off-piste area, perfect for those looking to carve out their own route, and a new blue run.
New heights are reached with the modern 8-seater Furglerblick gondola lift in See. Starting this winter, the Ascherhütte area will go up to 2,570 meters. From the mountain station there are panoramic views of the eponymous mountain Furgler (3,004 m). After the construction of the “Versing” 8-seater gondola lift in 2014, another key investment has now been successfully implemented and the further development and development of the ski area has been pushed ahead.
The Furglerblick should ease the pressure on the area's four-seater chairlift, cutting down queueing times and making getting up the mountain easier.
The lift was designed with nature in mind, with the aim of damaging the environment as little as possible during construction.
Mathäus Tschiderer, Managing Director of Bergbahnen See, is enthusiastic about the commissioning of the new gondola lift:
"With the completion of the new 8-seater Furglerblick gondola lift in combination with the blue slope that has also been opened in this context to the middle station, we have achieved another milestone in history of our cable car company. We are pleased that we are thus strengthening the skiing pleasure in our family-friendly ski area for guests and locals in the long term.”
