This new gondola will travel up 1,142 metres altitude, reaching the top station positioned at 2,570 m in just over four minutes. From the top station, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy easier access to a larger off-piste area, perfect for those looking to carve out their own route, and a new blue run.

Just in time for the start of the winter season in See, the new 8-seater Furglerblick gondola went into operation after 6 months of construction. The new cable car starts in the area of the Ascherhütte in the direction of Medrigjoch and takes winter sports enthusiasts from 2,174 meters to 2,570 meters - the highest point in the ski area. With the construction of the new gondola lift, skiers will also be offered a completely new slope in the Medriggrat area. From the highest point in the ski area, you can ski down a total of 1,530 vertical meters down to the valley, which in terms of vertical meters is one of the longest descents around. In total, Bergbahnen See invested around 9.5 million euros in the entire project with the support of the See municipality.
New heights are reached with the modern 8-seater Furglerblick gondola lift in See. Starting this winter, the Ascherhütte area will go up to 2,570 meters. From the mountain station there are panoramic views of the eponymous mountain Furgler (3,004 m). After the construction of the “Versing” 8-seater gondola lift in 2014, another key investment has now been successfully implemented and the further development and development of the ski area has been pushed ahead.
The Furglerblick should ease the pressure on the area's four-seater chairlift, cutting down queueing times and making getting up the mountain easier.
The lift was designed with nature in mind, with the aim of damaging the environment as little as possible during construction.
Mathäus Tschiderer, Managing Director of Bergbahnen See, is enthusiastic about the commissioning of the new gondola lift:
