The new Axamer Lizum Hoadlbahn with 75 cabins for 10 people each replaces the two 2-seater Hoadl I+II chairlifts and the 4-seater Schönboden chairlift. At the same time, a new administration building with shop and ski rental is being built next to the future Hoadlbahn valley station.
The new 10-seater gondola will be in operation from next winter of 2022/23, replacing three old lifts, the Schönboden and Hoadl I+II chairlifts, one of which dates back to 1969.
A new 10-seater monocable gondola with a middle station not far from the Sunnalm and a mountain station right next to the Hoadl house at 2,340 m is being built on the Axamer Lizum. With the new 10-person Hoadlbahn gondola it's just 6 minutes from the car park to the Hoadl sunny plateau!
