The existing 4-seater chair lift Reiterjoch will be replaced in the coming season with a modern chairlift, designed by the Turin design company Pininfarina.

Leitner's new lift is equipped with 8-seats, giving skiers and snowboarders an even faster and more comfortable uphill ride. In order to guarantee the snow reliability from December to April and to increase the skiing pleasure even further, the snowmaking system in the entire Latemar ski area will be further expanded and optimized.

Garaventa builds one of Switzerland’s biggest chairlifts in Villars resort

The fourth 8-seater chairlift in Switzerland went into service at the beginning of December 2022 in the Villars-Gryon-Diablerets ski area. The new ropeway means a significant increase in capacity for the trip from Villars to Les Diablerets.
